Michael Surkes has been in the commercial real estate business since 1985. He began his career as a sales person and continued as a licensed broker, brokering over 400 transactions. His background includes a license in appraising, as well as management of both residential and commercial properties.
Mr. Surkes is a principal of Funds America Corporation of Florida, a full scale lending institution. He is licensed in Florida in banking, finance, and mortgage brokering.
Currently, Mr. Surkes owns and manages a real estate brokerage house (Michael J Surkes Real Estate Inc), an investment firm (MJS Investments) and his own property management division. His office is located in Woodmere, New York.
As a real estate investor, Mr. Surkes’ portfolio is diversified with retail, industrial and residential properties consisting of over two million square feet of retail space, eight hundred thousand square feet of industrial space and over twenty apartment buildings in New York City and Long Island.
Michael Surkes holds a B.A. from the University of Miami in Banking and Finance.
Marc Wyszkowski joined MJS Investments in January 2007. Marc manages the day-to-day of operations at MJS Investments including acquisitions, financing, management, rentals, and sales. Marc holds a B.A. From Yeshiva University and enjoys the shooting sports, camping and military history.
Marc is engaged to the girl of his dreams.
